In Memory and Honour of the life of Dr. David Freeman

Dr. David Freeman was one of the original visionaries and founders of PACE in 1984. As a consultant, mentor and resource, his wisdom guided, enriched and inspired the PACE team over the years. More recently, he was instrumental in helping to develop the PACE Program’s “Supporting Healthy Transitions Program”, in keeping with his concern for children and caregivers in the foster system.

Dr. Freeman had his M.S.W. and D.S.W. and was Professor Emeritus, at the University of British Columbia. Besides maintaining a private practice, he was a highly regarded consultant and trainer of family therapists, as well as a renowned author.

David’s passion for enhancing the lives of children and families has touched many, and his legacy lives on through the PACE Program.
